Whilst I am really looking forward to meeting a few forum members in Chester next month in the flesh so to speak(although much less of it now I imagine! ), I also feel that I am getting to know so many more of you through this fantastic forum.
After only a short time I am remembering so many names and beginning to recognize different members' posts and find it thrilling to be able to join in and share so many common experiences. Isn't it amazing that so many people from such diverse circumstances, stages of life and far flung corners of the world can come together here to learn, teach, support, encourage and generally make life better for others they have never met?
Every time I log on I know I will always find a friendly listening ear, will probably pick up a new little nugget of information and have a jolly good laugh too as our common sense of humour seems to be global!
So especially if you are still a lurker or a fairly new member do join in and post your thoughts, fears, successes, whatever and call me an old softy, but I think a group hug is in order! Special thanks to @Moogie for setting up this site and allowing all this to happen.
