Global harmony through food
24 Jul 2013, 22:49
Rick Stein (celebrity chef in the UK for those who don't know of him) has been doing a TV series on food in India. I've just caught up with last week's episode in which he interviewed the Dalai Lama. Here's a brief but delightful clip (if it works!) where they talk, among other things, of global harmony through food.

Or in our case, global harmony through fasting!

I really enjoyed the clip. We are all so the same. It is so sad to me that a few people with sadistic agendas can ruin the commonality of us all.

Inspiring clip Shachat, thank you for posting. Gives us something to think about when we think we're hungry.

If the link doesn't work just type in Rick Stein and the Dalai Lama into you tube.
Thanks for posting.

Glad you enjoyed it. So much happiness (and naughtiness!) in His Holiness! If this is what enlightenment looks like, I'll have some of that!
