Good luck Poppy!
19 Nov 2013, 09:13
My beloved Italian Greyhound, Poppy, is off for her scan today. This is a nerve-wracking time, especially as she was diagnosed with cancer and given only 2-3 months to live...that was over 2 years ago! She is a brave little girl and I love her to bits. I just hope today brings us great news.

(am trying to post a photo of her but I don't think it works...help somebody!)

Crossing fingers and paws for Poppy :clover:

Try to not stress out too much, they can feel it, I know, easier said than done, and why shouldn't be good news if she doesn't look ill ? (You know what I mean, when they are sick, they sleep a lot and alone, they don't eat or play as usual, etc)

It can't be anything else but great news !

Good luck Bean, it's probably best to upload a photo of Poppy to photobucket first and then copy and paste the link in.

Wags, woofs and hugs for me and our 3 pooches.
Our old girl has Vestibular syndrome, but here she is a couple of months ago with our springers!

Thanks So much everyone. Your good luck messages have paid off. My darling Poppy has been given the "All Clear"! I am so relieved I just can't tell you. She is now off her daily tablets (Masivet, a new medication that has worked miracles!) but we will need to keep a more regular eye on her. Isn't that just the BEST news?!

Dogs are such special friends aren't they :-)

@Rawkaren...where do I find Photovucket? And @Pennyforthem...how did you attach a picture of your gorgeous dogs? They look like they're having a fabulous time! So cute! I'd love to share piccies of my two I'm just not a technical wizz.

Anyway, thanks everyone for your kind words. :-)

That is such good news! I'm smiling for you and Poppy!
My Jess is on Vivitonin and it's made a huge difference to her.

To attach photos, firstly you need to resize them on your computer - I resize to 600 x 400 pixels for this forum.

Then, you need to click on 'Upload attachment' (you may need to click on Full editor first) then select your file and add.
Place inline (and you can add more underneath it)
Write the message
and click submit.

The secret is in getting the file small enough to be accepted! Do try it.

Yay! Great news.
Just google photobucket, sign up and upload your pic (drag and drop). I struggle with file sizes so I find this easier.

Glad all is well for you and Poppy. We have had 2 dogs (and I'd have another tomorrow but we are not in enough) and that is my little fantasy - that I can could give up work and have a dog again. So pleased all is ok!
