We have a HB book here but to date it has not been used although I have several friends who rave about it.

I like the HB and I suspect that beer has much to do with their excess poundage!

I don't really have a problem with them bringing these books out - chefs tend to like a theme for their books these days and this is something they've latched onto.. In some respects I prefer to see these things from someone who obviously (like most of us) struggles rather than being annoyingly perfect!

Didn't realise Philip Schofield had done 5:2 -never actually seen him looking that big but I think he is just lovely and so glad he no longer dyes his hair!

@Cheekychicken I hear what you're saying. It's a bit like all these "celebs" who bring out "the most amazing exercise DVD imaginable" "ooh look at my size 0 butt, do my DVD you can look like me" they makes their money, get big again and the DVD is on the shelves of the nearest 99p store!
These guys lost a bit of weight, not all of what they needed to, jumped on the diet money making bandwagon etc etc etc...but we could of told them diets don't work!
However I do like their recipies, I have both the books and regularly use them. I won't buy the new book it's cheaper to google them!
I think I will bring out my own recipe book and fitness DVD..anyone want to buy them???

I saw the Hairy Biker on "An Extra Slice" (The Bake Off follow-up programme). He looks pretty weird now. He's grown weird "Strong-Man Moustache handles"...very strange

I loved his tache @nursebean! Yeah, he looked like he should have been a Victorian strong man. I told my son he ought to cultivate a tache like that but surprisingly he didn't seem keen....
