HAPPY EASTER FastDayers!
02 Apr 2015, 08:19
On this Holy Thursday evening, would like to wish everyone a happy Easter.

For those that celebrate it spiritually, may you have a peaceful break and find a renewed spirit with Christ.

For those that celebrate the time with family and friends, enjoy the happy blessed times we have where we can surround ourselves with people we love

For those that celebrate with chocolate eggs...go for it !!!! Easter Tuesday.. you can fast and rectify your bad behaviour! Personally i don't do Easter chocolate and usually spend the time clean up the garage and catch up with work and accounts. Am going to enjoy fish boullebaise tomorrow and Indian Gourmet meal on Sunday. (dont do chocolate cause of the commercialisation of the whole thing.) if given chocolate but try to train people by never giving any back. and there is a worldwide chocolate shortage i hear.. so best to savour it.

have fun...

@Juliana.Rivers a very blessed Easter to you too :-)

Like you I don't do the whole commercial thing , I find it a bit upsetting actually that something which so dear to so many people is used as an as excuse for excess .. a bit like Christmas really , but I guess that is the 21st Century for you !

I was planning a nice lamb meal on Sunday but now I find I'm fasting but I wont mind as everything I gave up for Lent I have pretty much lost the taste for now !

So to all my fasting friends have a wonderful weekend whatever you are doing :rose:

Hmm reminds me of last night's MasterChef: the guy cooked fish with blue cheese. Needless to say, it didn't go down too well
HAPPY EASTER everyone! xxxx
