bacon grilling,
fresh bread just out of the oven,
sweet pea flowers,
freshly washed and talc'd baby,
the sea on a stormy night,
melted chocolate,
homemade raspberry jam.
And
freshly cut grass/new mown hay
Freesias
Ssshhhh whisper it - toast
Freshly laundered bed linen
Vanilla
Roses especially Mr Lincoln
Freshly Roasted Coffee beans
Freshly Baked bread
By the sea
Freshly dried clothes on a windy day
Lavender, Violet
Rose geranium

That was fun
Freshly cut grass
Fresh hay
My horses
My horses' leather tack
Freshly brewed coffee (although I don't actually drink it, don't like the taste!)
Fresh bread
Other people's toast (mine just never smells the same)
Creosote and or tarmac
Outside after a rain shower
Cinnamon
The top of a tiny baby's head
My husband
Clean bed-sheets that have been dried outdoors
Sweetpeas
Roses
There is nothing quite like the smell of magnolias on a hot summer evening.
Bronnley lime and bergamot, whole range please!
Fresh coffee and bread.
Freesias, chrysanthemums, roses, gardenias, flowers!
My children and grandchildren.
Autumn.

The Australian bush in the summertime (without the fires of course!)

Brut 33 after shave (I know that's daggy but my hubby used it when we were first going out and it still makes me feel all gooey :heart: )
Buttered popcorn-smells even better than it tastes
coffee beans or just ground coffee- I hate coffee, but LOVE the smell
newborn baby-lotioned and powdered after bath
chocolate chip cookies just out of the oven
vanilla
cinnamon
chocolate

I love food scents, but have allergies and flowery scents tend to give me a headache.
How could I have forgotten baking bread?! Even better buttery garlic toast or cinnamon rolls!
Coffee fresh brewed (Pumphreys from Blaydon, near Newcastle)
Bacon
Darjeeling and Assam tea
Lemons
Rosemary
Thyme in the sun
Peaches
Box hedging in the sun
Scented geraniums
Fresh washed and blown towels and bedding
Patisserie shop!
Chocolate shop!
Expensive Italian shoe and handbag shops
A good old fashioned grocers or deli
That smell when you get off the plane in the Med
Lavender, especially abroad
That new car smell ...

And of course toast :shock: :wink:
I love all the smells posted, except, I don't have grandchildren. :smile:

Along with those, I love the smell of ginger root, galangal root and especially lemongrass.Image

I think it's time to make a batch of Tom Kha Gai. I love the smell of that too. :grin:
