I was too busy eyeballing the bread in the background,
No seriously, I loved getting excited with you all and seeing your faces even more. Julie, glad you're recovering well from your surgery. And wow those plates of food looked amazing.
Oh ladies..you look like you all had a fantastic time. The food looked wonderful but the thing that stood out for me was...Caroees..you look totally different from your original avatar picture..like a totally different person. It just spurs me on to continue with this wonderful WOE!

@carieoates Julie showed us her surgery scars - and they are amazingly well healed after only 6 weeks - lots of coconut oil she says

The photos they had up behind us were really larger than life sized ... Hyper real. Just like us - apparently we shocked a neighbouring table of blokes, when we got on to, um, the symptoms afflicting women of a certain age    well done Julie for noticing the body language and looks of dismay - cos we were all totally oblivious

The food hall was brilliant - and I came away with salted caramel sauce and salted caramel ice cream. Expensive, but I'm worth it  .... but now have to bankroll that, and the
£££ I spent on summer garb in a Ludlow shop yesterday  :dazed:

Again it was lovely to see Caroline and Pennyforthem again, as well as to meet Domane and Julie for the first time. Looking forward to the next time, and missing you all already
Oh great pics! Good to see everyone! X X
And where did all those bars of choccy come from @Silverdarling?

... Aldi in Leominster   just enough for 1 each of 5 different flavours. I think I should be on commission really - either that or a year's supply

(just taking a leaf out of @Wendy Darling's book - my partner in crime  )
That was fun, I really must become a lady that 'lunches' more often. I didn't buy much in the food hall, as I am so local I could always pop back, but I did get a huge bulb of smoked garlic, saffron and a bottle of steak sauce. Plus the mangetout that @carorees persuaded me to have.

@PennyForthem I hope you didn't get caught in the torrential rain that came sweeping in. The roads were flooded on the way back home with my son, yet he says they were dry when he drove out to pick me up.

It was lovely chatting and being encouraged in the way that the people on this forum can do.

Now there was some talk of a national meet up, glamping somewhere?
Yes - and we would really be in real tents - and caravans! Hopefully suitably glam ones!

We mentioned La Rosa campsite on North York Moors. They also have a quirky hotel in Whitby www.larosa.co.uk
I was thinking of something like Ilam Hall, its a Youth Hostel but takes any ages. The facilities there are fantastic too. There are loads of other YHA places that would be great for a large meeting. You can hire the complete building at times.
It helps if there is a link.... http://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/ilam-hall
Oh my...... I thought of you all today at lunchtime. So glad you had a good time, thanks for posting the pics, you all look fabulous. Love the choccie photo daahlinkkk @silverdarling What would a meetup of dieters be without Moser Roth? What do you think a meetup of dieters would be called?

A 'rumbling of dieters' maybe @Wendy Darling?
Great photos of ladies who lunch :like:
How come it's always @Silverdarling Holding on for dear life to the Aldi specials? Thanks for sharing
@julieathome thanks for the lift. Was just inside the waiting cabin when the rain struck on way home. Great to meet you.
@silverdarling thanks for the Choc - you are naughty!
@carorees thanks for the plants. They made it home safe and sound. Lovely to meet you!
@domane lovely to meet you. Hope all the chutney has gone down well.

I was absolutely frozen in the train on the way home: T shirt, Jumper and Goretex and still cold. Journey went well though.
I'd deffo do it again!! Thanks everyone!
