Hi, my name is Anna. I work a lot with a laptop  , I need to write a lot of text (educational materials). I have a slight speed of typing, only 44 WPM. I decided to use the online services.
Here are a few sites that will help you type fast:

http://www.ratatype.com/typing-test/

http://www.typingweb.com

Here is my results - Image

And what services do you use to type faster?
Whats your typing speed?
I don't use any services to type faster, I just type.

Just tried one of those tests:

Don't know if that's good or not. Made a silly mistake at the end which probably messed up my score a bit - the text they had me typing had a word in double quotes at the end, but with the full stop before the end quotation mark (which is blatantly wrong, hence didn't come naturally to me!)
Nice result, Moogie.
Moogie, you're much faster than me - mine came to 54. Your comment about the full-stop before the quote mark made me smile - I can come over a bit Lynn Truss about punctuation. And don't get me started on spelling!

I touch-type, which I think is a real boon, makes life so much easier in the modern computer age. But never mind speed and accuracy, my problem is wordiness. You'll see a definite difference between posts I type on my tablet (on-screen keyboard, can't touch type, keep it brief) and on my lap-top (can touch type so can ramble. At length!)
