Out damned spot-!!

That irritating feeling when you've got a totally clear face - except for the red bloomer right on the end of your nose :curse:

Bummer Silverdarling....

I use this really great spray, it's lavender flower water and it's very cooling and calming for your skin. I also put on some rosehip oil... which cures any redness... it's a really wonderful combination for sensitive skin.

In the meantime, hang in there! :geek:

Yep. I have what looks like a zit on the end of my nose jacking up my otherwise clear skin. It isn't a pimple at all. I managed to scratch myself in the face while I was trying to let my hair down from a ponytail.

I have a patch on the bridge of my nose that was excessively dry and starting to look as if I was going to get some kind of witch like warty growth there. Once I started using coconut oil on my face it settled right down.

awww I feel your pain - my skin is generally very good but I almost always have at least one spot either coming or going around my chin. I believe it's hormonal and it's not bad enough to warrant trips to the doctors and scary steroid creams but just enough so I feel self conscious as a 32 year old with zits and feel I have to wear make up when I would really rather go without in the summer (try and keep make up free when am at home). I have yet to find anything that works.

Actually I was sales-talked to about some new Australian brand that's over here in the uk now, called Natio - anyone heard of it? I bought some of their concealer that's supposed to help heal spots as I'm nearly out of mine, but am not convinced it will help.

Thanks for sharing everybody - things seem to have calmed down a bit by evening
I use Liz Earle products which are really good, she has a eucalyptus oil for spots which is quite good a nipping things in the bud. I agree about having to use make-up - I can usually get away with YSL Touche Éclat if it's just a couple of areas.

But it's still :curse: :curse: :curse: when it happens
