I really love my purple and white lycra zip up sport top. A sneaky pink something got in the wash and transferred to the white on my sport top. I dare say bleach would be a no go, that would change the purple in the clothing and lycra probably wouldn't do well anyway with bleach. The white part of this top looks really murky :frown:

Anyone really praise themselves on stain removal and dye transfers? Pretty please.
Any idea what the pink came from? Knowing this would help narrow down a solution.

For starters, I'd use Dawn dish washing soap and a scoop of Oxyclean with hot water in a kitchen sink and a bit of soak time. Try on a small spot first of course. You can also add some Shout spot remover. If these work do the entire garment to get consistency. Don't use a tooth brush or anything like it to scrub the area or you can damage the fabric. Work it in with your hands.

I've had good luck with the above combinations for grease spots even after they've been through the dryer many times.

:-)
In England we can get something called 'Colour-run remover', available in supermarkets, which has worked for my daughter in the past. There's probably something similar available to you, although you may have to Google it online to fine a supplier. Sorry, I can't be more help than that. Good luck!
@ADFnFuel- Thanks I appreciate the advice. I bought my top on a 70% reduction so it only cost me $12.00 will try what you've suggested, won't give up just yet.

@StowgateResident
