Amazing he lived so long really. When I was young he came into the hotel I was working in, hair died blonde! Then I went to his gig and he couldn't stand up, so I reckon he did OK. Walk on the Wild Side is a true classic.

I agree with Pete - Transformer is a fab album..brings back so many memories of living in London circa 1973
