Glad we're back- thought I had broken the interwebs with the excitement of reaching 10000!

Sure, we can get into the obscura of IP protocol:

1. Open a DOS window.

2. Type in: ping www .52fastdiet.co.uk
(without the space after www)and press the Enter key.

3. You should see a multi-line series of "Reply from ..." messages followed by some statistics.

If nothing happens within a few seconds and the screen appears to be locked, press Ctrl-C. The site is effectively offline.

I guessed that something like that happened. What a coincidence that it happened as we were reaching 10,000 !
Was surprised how much I missed logging in here.

Missed everybody terribly! Withdrawal symptoms!

(Even though I was 'out to lunch' at the time - see below!!!! and this was 'some' compensation!! )

well that was all a bit distressing - missed my regular fixes

so glad it's all back to normal now (although my ipad didn't think so this morning - must go & kick it)

There was almost a divorce in this house, hubs cannot live with me when this site is down! Thanks for the info, that will be useful if it happens again and I don't need to hassle poor Moogie, which I only did as I thought my computer had a problem Huston!

I wondered where you were & thought my iPad had been playing up! Welcome back

I only had about 10 minutes trying and then I got on so wasn't too anxiety provoking for me but how long was the server out of action. What is your twitter address @Moogie please just to have handy. Glad all is well again, phew!
