Storm in Britain and Europe
06 Dec 2013, 19:07
Just reading about the terrible storm in Europe. Must be awful, the media here in NZ has reported deaths and that the Thames Barrier is down. Hope everyone is ok, hunkered down and staying safe.

Thinking of you all.

Hi Julie. Thank you. I think most of us here escaped unscathed. It was impressive though but with better weather planning these days, most people on the east coast managed to take precautions, unless you were one of the very unlucky ones who lost their house to the sea.

Here is our thread from yesterday chat-f12/today-s-uk-storm-how-is-everyone-t10014.html

Hi Julie! as Rawkaren says most of us survived unscathed but for the few who lost homes I cannot imagine how devastating that must have been for them. Thank you for the kind thoughts and best wishes,
