I had such interrupted sleep last night that I'm not sure I'll have any thoughts today My self-diagnosis is this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_tr ... n_syndrome I may have to learn to sleep on my back because it hurts on both sides.
Happened last Monday night, too. Maybe I can blame the moves foisted on our strength training class by our Monday teacher--she likes a long warmup with lots of swaying, dancing movements that often don't agree with my knees--maybe my greater trochanter bursa and tendons don't like it, either.
Speaking of lovely naan, we like this for the occasional evening when no one feels like cooking or going out:

Some of the vendors from the local "big" farmers' market come to a downtown park today, so I'll toodle off there--maybe the sight of all that shiny produce will perk me up.
Happy thoughts to all

[tagMarybeth/tag]Lord I'm depressed now, sounds like me! I have a great therapist (also a nurse) who I am seeing Thursday, will ask why it is suddenly happening. I had rotator cuff bursitis for years and he cured it (unlike the cortisone shots, acupuncture, physio). I get dragged about a lot by unruly dogs. May have to take up yoga again and take the glucosamine! Good luck to you too.
Thanks @Ballerina that joke made me laugh my head off!
Its one of those visual jokes isnt it, i keep getting a mental image and chuckling away to myself!

Ballerina x
Same here @ballerina I made a curry last night and never touched the naan mostly due to my recent bug though.
My thought for today is I'm feeling a little better each day thank the lord and catching up on all the threads @GMH this is a great return from you well done and don't go away again
My thought for today is "I wish a good fairy would fly in and clean the house and do the ironing for me."
@Azureblue My solution to the ironing problem at the moment is to keep buying more clothes - mostly from charity shops. How I am going to get them all in the wardrobe when they are finally ironed goodness only knows
Ahead of you @Azureblue bit of housework yesterday
12 shirts ironed today!!!! Those ruddy fairies never turn up when needed most

@Sue.Q @AzureBlueHere's the very fairy youve been looking for!
@GMH How did it go today with your nurse visit? Hope she was able to help with the hip pain while lying down--is she a physical therapist also?
My problem comes and goes--I did sleep fairly well last night. I'm trying hip extensor and piriformis stretches at bedtime and have added some magnesium citrate to my bedtime routine.
Thought for the day: Excelsior!--(Anybody here in the US who used to listen Jean Shepherd will recognize this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Shepherd)

@Marybeth, Peter is a myotherapist (look it up) also a midwife and he works on the Care Flight helicopter). Absolutely brilliant therapist. He did heaps of work on both lower back and my 'bum cheek's I am sore from the pummeling but the hip pain is gone. I also have a hand held massager dual head, just a China cheapen I got years ago. I use this inbetween, hurts like he'll but works, plus deep heat or some heat cream, ibuprofen when in major pain, bath and yes magnesium. Massage works from a good therapist. I have had literally hundreds of massages and myotherapy is best I've had for major injuries.
Wow GMH sounds like a world of pain {{{+}}} Hoping you improve soonest.
Thought of the day
"How come I keep waking up after 9am?"

@GMH Thanks for this. From the descriptions of myotherapy that I've just seen, it seems that my physical therapist that I see now and then also does the pain trigger point thing. When my neck was stiff and painful, she made it painfree and much more flexible in just a few minutes, using finger pressure on certain points along with lovely massage.
Sorry I made Peter into a stereotype. Of course, not all nurses/therapists are women!
Glad you are feeling better.
My thought for the day is "Don't Panic!--even if guests are coming for the weekend and I'm not quite ready yet"
