Sorted it. I've put the link on now. Not sure how to put a you tube video on.
Lol! I had not heard that before perhaps it's before my time? Now the tune is stuck in my head!

That's what happened to me Betsy. A couple of years ago our local radio station kept playing snippits of it. Now I can't get it out of my head!
@wildmissus that was evil putting that up. I now have that tune as an earworm.
Not very Christmassy but this was my daughter playing in the steel band at the church after they switched on the Christmas lights in the town this year.
She's the reserved one on the far right at the front. A crowd pleaser, I think!

Hard to choose, but as far as modern versions I love this one by U2 - Baby Please Come Home

We have our mad American friends to blame for this one. Perhaps @Betsysgr8 or @wendyjane could enlighten us on this one. I think is was an advertising campaign in the 1950's but I don't know what for.
Our mad American friends? Why thank you, @wildmissus! I was not familiar with this one either. I did some research (wikipedia, where I also learned about kilted sausages yesterday), and it turns out it was a hit the year before I was born, so no wonder. Sung by a 10 year old girl. The video, however, was by Pixar, so obviously modern. As one of the commenters remarked, it was spoiled somewhat by the stupid lesbian comment at the end.

Love it!! And love the way the videographer captured the children dancing in the aisles - and the pews.
