veggies sown
18 Apr 2013, 10:43
Hi All,

Here in the Netherlands Spring has come incredibly late this year, but this week I put some lovely veggie seeds into the ground. A lot of lovely rocket salad and other leafy veg. Approx two years ago I started growing sprouting veg (garden cress) in my kitchen window sill. Also mung beans, lentils etc. Lovely in soups, on omelettes and on salads! So far I haven't read anything on these forums about growing your own, but I must admit I haven't yet read all the info on them. I am relatively new on this forum, but I would like to thank all of you who have contributing such a wealth of information, with special thanks to Carorees and Moogie. Have a great day and good luck to all of you who are fasting today,

Hi
I am in Aquitaine, SW France, and spring is really late here too. Just been to market to buy plants, courgette, aubergine, lettuce etc. my herbs are doing well as well.
Our weather at the moment is really strange, yesterday was 26degrees, today is cool and rainy. Usually by now, DH is playing golf in his shorts.
Good luck with your 5:2 journey. I started just last week.
