This may have been mentioned already but the last few days I found taking magnesium a few hours before bed has cut way down on my insomnia. I was waking up every hour at least all night for several weeks and now it is down to 2 or 3 times and am hoping that will stop if I add some more. Hope this might help someone else.

I second that - I also sleep better when I take magnesium before bedtime. And it reduces my restless legs problem
There is a lot of research showing it helps with sleep but a lot of people don't know that. Drs often don't seem to know it either.
