Mmmmm I was under the impression that Oban was before Fort William. Must be all the alcohol we had in Inveraray, LOL!

Must confess, my shopping knowledge is limited to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

TML - you could go Inveraray - Oban - Fort William, but you would then miss out Glencoe - and that is really unmissable IMO  - I don't know Inveraray, but if you think it's good it's going on my list
And you would seriously  House of Bruar ...

Silverdarling, Inveraray is my second favourite place in Scotland after Stirling. There's something "magnetic" in this place...

House of Bruar is now noted. Not sure when I'll manage to be in Scotland with time for trips but when I do, I know me uncle Frank will take me everywhere I tell him. Once, he even offered to take me to Devon to see where my dad was born but if I spent so much time in a car I'd die, LOL!!!

There is a beautiful wee village called Culross (prn. Kooros) in Fife, not far from Stirling or Edinburgh. It boasts a palace and great little arts and craft shops promoting local potters and artists. Nice walks, narrow winding streets and alleyways, beautiful gardens, great little cafes and within spitting distance of the famous Forth road Bridge. Stunning!

I feel homesick for London and I never stayed there for more than 3 weeks (the climate is killing me). My friends tell me that I deffo lived there in a previous life.
