I have a pair of jeggings that I would love to see meself into but I also have 3-4 kilos that prevent me from doing so, LOL!

Azureblue no one is too old for jeans - my Mum still wears them, and she's 80 this year :victory: and I hope to be doing the same when I get to 80

I think I learned my lesson about jeggings. I could hardly get my foot through one pair! Just thought they would be nice and stretchy, but were just very skinny.

Would just like some nice trousers that fit.

Silverbelle, is there a Primark near you?

Sizes in shops are ridiculous now- I tried on a size 12 demin jacket in Asda, it was baggy- I have huge tits which I can normally squeeze into a 16 or big 14- so don't know who had made that one! (It was hideous btw!)

It's marketing my dear. Straight from the US. Apparently, women prefer to wear a size 8 instead of a size 12, even if their weight indicates that they are indeed a size 12.

You guys need to come and shop in France - no big sizes to make you feel better, the sizes are very very small! I always have a pleasant surprise when I go clothes shopping in England as I can wear very small ego boosting sizes, and I rarely buy anything in French shops as I refuse to buy two to three sizes bigger than the UK equivalent!

Nicky, I mainly shop from England for quite a few reasons...
Everything is cheaper. Some brands are more than 50% cheaper than here in Greece.
Shop assistants are very discreet and very knowledgeable and helpful at the same time.
I know my size. In some shops I don't even try the clothes on!
I don't know how to shop or where to shop from Athens. I'm so used to shopping in London that I don't even know where to start from here, where to go, what to look for.

Aaaaaaaaah, I can't wait to go back and fill my suitcases with the wonderful clothes from the London shops!!!

LOL I do the same thing for the same reasons...thank goodness my parents live in London so I can go back regularly and fill my suitcase!
Now though a lot of the shops do international delivery so I can get my clothing fix without having to go to London, which is less enjoyable but practical!

I hate shopping for clothes online! I guess I am a store-aholic and not just a shopaholic, LOL!

Sizes are inconsistent here too. I tried on a pair of jeans, fitted beautifully, but there was a little bit of stitching not quite right on the pocket, so I put that pair back, picked another pair the same. Didnt try them on and when I got them home they were to small!! :curse:.
So I took them back and explained, the sales assistant gave me the most withering, whatever, look that I nearly threw them at her!!
And Im not brave enough to even try on a pair of jeggings
