I've been using a nono on my upper lip for a while now. I'm a fan. You do need to use it religiously, ie. ever second day to start with then every three days to end up using it once a week or so. I've tried electrolysis, laser, wax on my upper lip but have settled on nono for that area.

Have you used it on your legs and do you have the 8800 model

Haven't tried it on my legs as I'm quite happy using an epilator but for it to be effective on your legs I would say you would need to be committed to using regularly. It's a bit like trying to lose weight you need to persist and be patient! It is the 8800 model which I bought from QVC when it was a todays special value and on easy payments.

I bought it 6 six months ago and it is useless! It is absolutely the worst purchase I have ever in my lifetime made.

Claire was that for use on your legs? It's not cheap and I don't want to waste money when it could be spent on a slap up meal instead

Wildmissus how much does a epilator hurt on a scale of 1-10, I've never been brave and have never tried waxing as I'm to scared  how long will it last?

I don't know how your tolerance for pain is, but to me an epilator doesn't hurt much.

The sting is comparable to getting your eyebrows plucked, and you can go as slow as you want, and ice your skin as much as you want. Then it's already easier the second time, because the hair roots will grow back weaker.

I am blessed with beautiful thick hair, so epilating lasts about 4 days for me. It can last up to two weeks for those with finer hair.

I use a Braun Silk-épil 7 in the shower and use it for face, under-arms and legs.
I don't find it painful, but I am used to waxing and I had an epilator when they first came out and the newer models are much improved.

Certain areas of the body are more sensitive (upper lip, back of the knee), but it is much less painful if the skin is held taut

Don't spend your money on an epilator if you haven't at least tried waxing, or ask a friend to lend you an epilator first.
If you do decide to buy one, make sure you take a couple of pain killers 30 mn before using it the first time.
