I don't know about anyone else but I found this weeks episode far more interesting.
This is what I have taken from this weeks one.

1. Vitamins, yes we don't need them if we have a balanced diet, as we pee out whats not needed. I agree and only took when I was preggars.
2. Mosely on statins !
3. Stand up more, you burn off glucose faster, and burn 0.7 more calories per hour.
4. Womb transplants- fascinating
I've just watched it. Standing up.
I agree Caroline, much better this week... and yes we all need to stand up more don't we. Really interesting putting in those desks in the estate agents at which they had to stand to work.... would be really interested in trying that out. Womb transplant mother to daughter... mind boggling - what amazing times we live in.

If our house move goes ahead I think I'm going to try and incorporate a stand up desk for our computer in our place and experiment on ourselves !
Anyone found it online yet?
I use an improvised stand-up reading desk in the evenings instead of spending the whole time on the couch with my book. A plastic milk carton on a counter-high kitchen table, topped with an adjustable book stand http://www.bestbookstand.com/index.php/ ... stand.html

I usually do some lower body exercises while standing there,reading--alternating legs so that I don't have to count.
I have 2 places I stand and work - laptop on the kitchen surface is pretty good. Also a window sill in the lounge, with a shoe box to stand the laptop on is optimal height.

I spent the morning lying on the sofa nursing a hangover  , but now I'm feeling a bit more human I'm standing, and will stay upright till dinner at 6.30

Haha, apologies, I meant whether anyone had found it online for the benefit of those who for reasons of geography cannot access BBC iPlayer. Ah well, maybe I can watch it tomorrow morning. Until then, no spoilers
I just watched this today. Really interesting, and especially the womb transplant. Does anyone know when the transplant was done? I'd love to hear the outcome, and they did say she would have to wait a year before trying to conceive. Not sure I can keep my fingers crossed for them for that long!

No doubt it'll turn up on YouTube or similar before too long.
Yes I watched it! It blew my mind about the transplant, hope all goes well there :like:
With regards to vitamins yes I can fully understand that if we have a balanced diet you should get all the vits!
My hubby takes statins and at the mo we are discussing the pros and cons!
Found it interesting :like: :like: :like:
This aired last night on ABC 1. Caught it by accident after one of my fave abc programs (Janet King) .. anyway found it interesting. a bit "womans dayish" ..i.e. a bit non detailed in technical stuff or gimmicky otherwise. sad he went onto Statins thought.. reckon it was cause of the danger of "suggesting" to people they should stop should he have decided otherwise. So the cynic in me says he probably isnt on Statins though he said he would be.

His decision i know.

On Iview if you missed it
