Good morning one and all, or off to bed with you all in the UK.

My plans for Monday are to get back into the swing of things, my life has slid into the black hole that consists of Internet and TV. So tomorrow I am back to a routine of 1 hour learning a language, at least one hour in my shed wood turning and a 1 hour walk or other exercise each day.

I'm learning Bulgarian as we are off there on holiday next year, its an unusual language to try and learn as they use the Cyrillic written language, you need to learn how the word looks before you can pronounce it. Its very useful for road signs, menu's and writing your name in the hotel register. I've let my studying slip so badly that I am going back to the beginning and starting again. I wasn't that far into it, so its not a big hardship, but I really need to get stuck into it.

I am also going to try and make my daughter a vase or something like it as a Christmas present. I'm not sure how she would take it if I gave her one of my usual presents.

So you lovely people, what are you up to today, that is Monday, for the time zone confused.
Its nearly 12 noon here, and very windy and brisk, so that makes for a chilly fast day, and I have to go out.

Rather not, but it will pass the time as I am entering the hungrier part of my fast, lunch time that is.

Need to post our availability for the upcoming holiday program for Christmas holidays.

Daughter will have a great time and I get a break too. Also need to put in school book list for new upcoming school year.

Am a sook for windy brisk weather, but I won't be planting my tomatoes today, wait for less wind.

Buy some chicken pieces for tea and bread for lunches.

Also have no hot water, the hot water service has served us for 16 and a half years, luckily if needed I have experienced cold shower therapy.

Hopefully have a new hot water system in a couple of days.
Hi Julie, I'm glad you are feeling like getting back into your usual routine, which sounds quite ambitious! Good thinking on daughter's gift ;) Reminds me of moving day here a few years ago when my daughter helped me put some of my clothes in the closet--blushes all around regarding some negligee.

Monday will be my usual exercise class/library volunteer day to keep me busy and my mind off food. A few pounds have crept back on since Friday's reaching of goal, so I'll have to be fasting again. Will also be making a start on getting rid of heavy old TV and setting up 1st new HD TV.
Just after 12 noon here now. My plans for today are to try and not tear my hair out while at work, its just one of those work days :frown:
At least I havent had time to think of food as its fasting day. Well back to it. Have a great day everyone.
Love this Julie, thank you!
Great to hear an enthusiastic back-on-tracker. We all need to re-group sometimes.
I'm having an influx of relatives from Melbourne this month- first my sister for 5 days, then my niece, her DH and gorgeous 17mth son for 3 days last week, and my other niece is coming next week for 3 days.
Love seeing them all but finding it a bit hard to fast being out of routine. I really can't fast when I'm being hostess. I have managed one fast each week and some 16:8's so that will have to do!
Today I missed my usual Monday swim as my mate was sick and as it's very cold and rainy in Sydney today I chickened out.
I've been to see my Mum in the Nursing Home and shared Remembrance Day morning with her.
Now I'm about to finish cleaning a large cane wall unit which has taken me 2 days to clean and sort.Oh well, it prob won't be done again for another 10 years! It's been quite nostalgic with all the old books and games we store there.
If I have time I have a few sewing jobs- taking in and up a couple of t-shirts and hems.
Should be enough to keep me out of trouble on a fast day!
Enjoy your day everyone whatever you are up to.
Hello Julie & yes back on track with a vengeance for me just back from holiday & having gained 14oz in weight. I am cleaning, polishing, hoovering & clearing my kitchen & cloakroom with the holiday washing & ironing on hold today because this afternoon I have my beading buddies group coming to bead. I have recently discovered Soutache & I am making a bracelet to match my "Mother of the groom" outfit in black & pink that I may wear if it turns out well.

Wow. That's impressive. Now that its dark and cold outside, I might join you (but not Bulgarian), but back to Spanish.

I have had a slow start this morning despite getting up at 6.30am. I had the last two episodes of Downton to watch which I have now done. Working this morning, yoga at lunch and then a new client this afternoon, but its a long drive over. Hope not to be late tonight
Unfortunately I`m not at home in Portsmouth so I can`t go to my voluntary job with the CAB. Probably just as well as my computer literacy seems to have flown out the window! I am waiting in for an Amazon delivery which should have come on 2 days ago.Trying to fast today, but feeling very hungry already. Made some Thai veg soup yesterday so will have that for lunch, trying to do without breakfast. When/if it stops raining will take the dog for a walk. What an exciting life I lead!
I am looking forward to a trip to the dentists! Fortunately just a routine trip.
Hello to all !

It's a bank holiday here so it will be a bit of a slow day. I wasn't supposed to go cycling but the weather is so beautiful, sunny with not much wind, I'll go anyway in a few minutes.

After that, I'll have a long nice shower, a massage,a late lunch (not before 4:00PM), a movie and hop to bed without dinner, which will prepare me for tomorrow's fast
Oooh! Thai noodle soup. I haven't sorted lunch yet, that will do us nicely.

I had a refund from an ebay seller today of the postage, all £9.00 of it as I paid next day but it took 4 days. The driver had the cheek to put on the tracking forms that i had requested a Monday delivery not the Friday delivery. Cheeky sod, he was probably running late and decided that leaving my delivery out as we are in the back of beyond, would make up the time for him.

I ran out of conditioner for my hair, so i am trying the pre-condition with coconut oil. Having hair down to my coccis make for memorable brushing sessions if I don't condition.

Other than that, a trip to the post office to send a parcel to a friend, pop into the doctors for a prescription and wait in for a freecycler.
