Crikey I'm getting later and later. This thread should say what have you done today.

But here goes. Its my day for housework so as usual I have ended up doing the jobs the lads should have done on their days as well as my own jobs. Yesterday I managed to finish off 3 of the drawers to fit in my larder cupboard and have ordered more supplies for the rest as its worked so well. That counts towards the 'working in the shed' for now. The wood turning has taken a bit of a back seat lately, so I hope to get back into it early next week.

I'm off for a shower in a bit, then I'm popping to the post office again with ebay stuff.

Some pottering in the garden and planning out a new path to the shed as walking back and forth these last few days has shown how badly the lawn is coping in the wet (mud, mud everywhere) and how dangerous it was in the dark with slippery mud and poor lighting. Its lovely weather out there at the moment so i'm hoping to enjoy it while its there.

Again a slow day, but so far a good one.
MORE ironing.......sigh! :frown: :bigfrown: :shutmouth: :fat:

Ballerina x
Shopping, dog walk and then like Ballerina the dreaded ironing.
Ironing all done, feeling VERY self righteous and smug, sorry! :cute: :lashes:  :bashful: :)

Ballerina x
Ballerina, I was wondering if somebody would ever use that smiley....

Now that I went to do my 1 hour cycling, just finished my lunch, the programm is very simple, take a shouer do some tidy up, dealing with my best friend who is feeling very low and finishing the day with some relaxation to fall asleep way before 3:00AM
I went for my run this morning, had to wait for the rain to stop it was a bit muddy under foot so I now have to get my muddy clothes into the washing machine, scrape my shoes and then have a nice hot sower. This is a repair day for me so I will have a nice chill out afternoon reading  :victory: .
Ballerina-I felt like that last night after I had sorted out the chaos I had created in the spare bedroom!
It's my birthday, turning 55 today! WooHoo! Got a short walk in with the dogs before I head out to work. Celebrating with a lemon cake this weekend with wicked evil frosting and I may eat half all by myself...because 5:2 let's you do things like that!
After helping at my local school this morning, it's ironing for me. A bit of sheet changing for good measure, then cooking for tonight's supper. It is a fast day, andI find that it helps to have supper ready when the family return later.
Happy birthday GoLinda, hope you have a great time, here are some things to get you in the party mood........... :present: :pizza:  :cake: :drink: :island:

Ballerina x
PS Happy Birthday GoLinda!!
I walked the 3 odd miles to the local hospital for a blood test today. I took a book, expecting a long wait and was done in 15 minutes and didn't even feel the needle. Amazing! I then walked home too and beat the buses both ways thanks to the traffic jams. Was feeling rather smug until I passed a friend who asked if I was alright, because I looked so washed out. "Are you eating properly?" she said. Hmmm, not sure how to answer that one, cos 5:2 is causing me some irritating side effects at the moment (headaches, bad sleep and galloping constipation).

Got home and went to bed, which is bad! Woken by builders putting in fitted wardrobes next door. At least I'm up though and only an hour wasted.

Will now do my data entry quota for the day, before the kids get home (I'm helping out on a large university psychology study at the moment, in lieu of a proper job).

Then need to crack the whip for the youngest to get his 11+ practice done and then off to watch him in his diving squad for 3 hours.

After that, supper and bed.
Did my workout, two business meetings and then some retail therapy. (Got my ear warmers @ballerina  but not cat ones). Can't believe Liberty's were playing Christmas carols :curse:
Picked up a large expresso with cream from cafe Nero (it's a fast day), and now on a long train journey oop north with everyone here for company. The only programmes I have downloaded on my iPad from bbc player are cookery progs which I don't want to watch today  ironing tonight!
@GoLinda- happy birthday - hope you have a good day

I am fasting today (LOF) just had a relaxing 5 mile walk across the North Downs (which are practically on our doorstep) - lovely fresh air, etc., etc. Hoping that'll give my weight loss a bit of a further boost for Saturday's weigh in. Soupmaking later this afternoon, ready for eating/drinking..... Waiting for solicitor to call me and say we've fiiiiiiiiinally exchanged contracts..... but somehow I think there's going to be more questions to ask... and I soooooo want to get our move in during early December and not too close to Christmas. After the soupmaking I might retreat and read for a while, before tacking some paperwork that needs sorting out. I'm home alone today. OH away working during the week, DD and DS at work / with friends, so it's just me and the cats  That's about it for the day I reckon
Today is my second weight training class of the week--fasting today because I like to keep busy with mind off food. Did a mile of my "walking" video before my meager little 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and coffee w 10 calories of cream. Really looking forward to today's exercise class because our Thursday teacher is tip-top, unlike the Monday inexperienced one who is sometimes very patronizing in her remarks "I love to see all your little smiling faces looking at me"--is there a smiley face here for barfing? We're all over 50 in class and most over 70, but none of us are senile yet!
Then I have a couple of errands to add some more steps to my new pedometer followed by the second weekly shift of shelf-reading at the library.
