You see I just bought a viners 600ml cafetiere for a change, having used my lovely mukka pot for a couple of years now.
Looking on the jolly interweb I've discovered I now need not espresso ground coffee but filter ( is that right?) as the grounds are too fine otherwise.
There seems to be some cross discussion as to the best way to prepare your drink, so what do you think m'dears, and what coffee do you recommend, I usually have illy.
I buy Lavazza 'Crema e Gusto' filter coffee for cafetieres...it's my absolute favourite.
I use two coffee scoops in my cafetiere and that's perfect! :coffee:
I buy a special coffee (organic and fair trade) only available via internet and put one measure of coffee more than water. I drink around 6 cups a day that's why I am so picky on the coffee
 Love good thick strong French coffee
Aso love Arabica coffee which I think is Ethiopian.

However I have started to drink more tea than coffee on
all days not just fastdays.
