Even though I was drooling over Uk's Bake Off show tonight, my thoughts were wandering towards what would I want to eat if it were my last day on this planet. Mine is toasted soughdough, fresh tomatoes with olive oil and salt on top with copious amounts of red or rose wine. What's yours?

Cripes, I really don't know.
It certainly isn't the same as it would have been 6 months ago, my tastes have changed out of all recognition (I actually prefer zero noodles to pasta now ).
But if I have to choose one ........... prawns with a light marie-rose sauce for starter, main course a lovely blue steak with a light roquefort sauce, mange-touts & new potatoes, and a lemon sorbet for desert
Drooling now, thank you !!!!!

Too hard to limit myself
There would be chocolate, coffee, avocado, seafood, lemon, lentils, berries, salad leaves, bananas
So first course would be an oldie but a goodie 1/2 avocado with fresh tiger prawns packed into the centre and drizzled creamy tangy dollop of freshly made lemony dill mayo and freshly ground peppercorns on top
2nd course would be freshly made lentil patties with leafy salad and shredded beetroot, carrot, and on the side hummus and another little dish with dressing like sweet chilli sauce with caramelised dollop of balsamic
3rd course will be death by chocolate pie and berries on the side served with the best coffee.
Then I'd be going to heaven one would hope
Oh I forgot the cheese ... I am full ... Might have to have the cheese in another life

Mmm knowing my luck I'd be on a bl&&dy fast day and it would be an oxo!
My Mum makes the most wonderful garlic stuffed roast lamb...I'd eat the whole roast!
Oohhh well like Annie said my tastes have changed rather a lot
So assuming I could do 3 courses mine would be
Smoked salmon + asparagus salad starter
Ribeye steak cooked just medium plus a few steamed new potatoes
with a full salad dressed with light salad cream + balsamic vinaigrette.
Dessert would have to be Chocolate melt in the middle pudding/custard
Couple of very large glasses of rioja.
Very Large espresso plus mints + petit fours
All assuming its not a fastday of course otherwise
Ha ha ha I'd be having an oxo round at mimsmums Sue
