Hi everyone!

Didn't have chance to come on earlier - BUT I had another great fast today. My second of the week. I ended up eating just smoked haddock with butter and cabbage and courgettes. Plus yoghurt, straws and cream. All came to about 530 cals and a mere 16g carbs - woohoo!! :-)

Did anyone else fast today?

Bean
I was fasting alongside you, @nursebean, but didn't have time to check in. I fasted on Wednesday as well, so a back to back for me. I hadn't planned it that way, my second fast of the week should have been today (Friday) but I was so busy yesterday that it got to 4pm and I realised that I hadn't eaten anything, so I just made a (relatively) low cal dinner at 6.30pm and called it a fast day.

I am still trying to lose a few stubborn pounds to get back down to my target weight but life just keeps getting in the way and, just as my target is in sight, some event (or just plain greed) gets in the way and I eat far too much. Sadly, once I have done that it takes a few days to get back to fasting and so the cycle continues! However, I am determined to see 10 stone 7 pounds on the scales sometime this summer. I am currently 10 stone 9 pounds after two fast days, so I will have to knuckle down to it but only after the wedding of a great niece which I am attending tomorrow!

I'm pleased that your fast day went well. Your supper sounds great - I love smoked fish of any sort but especially haddock.

Oh how lovely to hear from you @StowgateResident!! And wow! A back to back fast is never really that easy is it. Well done1 I think those pesky two pounds will probably disappear if you do another 2 day fast. I feel sure of it!

I am really pleased because I still go to Slimming World because i help out and its my social event of the week(!) This week I lost 2 and a half pounds, got my Club10 (which means I've lost 10% of my original weight) AND I was Slimmer of the Week!!! :-) Last week I was Slimmer of the Month having lost 11 and half pounds in one month!! I tell you, low carb is the way forward. If I lose 3 pounds this week I'll be my 1 and a half stone award!! The thing is, I don't feel hungry eating this way and I really enjoyed my two fast days this week. I think I'll do the same next week - and see what happens!!

Here's to a great week for you too! ;-)

Bean
Hello Bean, so tell me about your fabulous success, that’s a great amount of weight you’ve shed. I love low carb too
