Perfect Pimms Recipe.
15 Apr 2013, 06:55
Hi All'

Being some/one who loves a tipple' I was eager to find something that I enjoyed drinking' and didn't feel like I was missing out.

A friend told me of a super Pimms' look'a'like and taste'a'like recipe. It is really great and I promise tastes so similar without hardly and calories and lots of goodness.

Pimms lovers you HAVE to try this, non alcoholic & virtually calorie free, apart from garnish . Tastes just like the real thing . Trust me.

Fill glass or jug with lemon , orange slices , sprigs of mint & chunks of cucumber . Top up with casera (diet lemonade ) and add a large dash of balsamic vinegar !!! Cheers x

oooh, must try. Love Pimms and it blows my head off- lightweight that I am, but possible because I drink it like ginger (lemonade)

I am SO wishing this really does taste like Pimms, but can't quite believe it - balsamic? really??
Might try it if we ever get some decent sunshine here!

Good luck with the inlaws!! Not my idea of fun (We call them outlaws!!)

I like a dash of angostura bitters and low cal tonic - feels like something more than it is! I love Pimms, but not sure about the vinegar...

This sounds like a must try - however the back drop to the picture of my 'Pimms' won't be as wonderful as yours  Need to get in some sunshine and warmth first though - it's on order

Tried a quick version of this last night (though I forgot the balsamic - doh!)

I had angostura with soda water, slices of cucumber and chunks of cantaloupe. It really felt like a special drink.

Great Melanie Cheeks' I think just doing something that little bit different makes it feel good, and perhaps taking time to sit and savour too. Cheers x
