<200 cal take away breakfast
03 Feb 2013, 21:57
Hi, i normally have nice porridge brekki on fast days, as I cannot do without, and working from home, however i would like to try a fast day when I am working in London as the days is going to be super busy with hardly any food temptation. I am on the train at six, therefore I am looking for a transportable and cold breakfast to replace my porridge staple. Normally I would have a sandwich, but bread is so high in calories, that i would not have much more left for the day and i would like to have some dinner as its a long day. Therefore please let me have any ideas for a nice < 200 cal breakfast i can take on the train.

Hard boiled eggs? High in protein and keep you feeling full for longer. 1 egg is about 70 cals.
Not sure I can face cold boiled egg at 6 am :o)), might have to fast instead, which is not a bad thing !
How about a banana? The perfect portable food! Or some nice dried fruit to nibble on (strawberries, cranberries & apples are nice) :)

You could try ordering a free Graze box to try, all the little boxes are calorie counted out and are very tasty (just go through all the foods on the website first and select which ones you don't want them to send).
