Re: CHATTERBOX CANDY!!

I'm MUCH better. I am not getting any pain from neck at all. The post op swelling must be going down as I can turn my neck better than pre op, though I will never again have as much flexibility as I did before my problems started.
My hip is now only hurting when I twist it and I am able to walk to the school and back (taking the next door neighbors kid to school) with only a slight limp. Shopping tomorrow should be a doddle compared to last week.
Monday the clips come out and the hip dressing should come off.
So, yes, I am feeling great.

Thats great news @Julieathome but perhaps that neighbour could have made other arrangements for a while! X

The lads have taken over most of the babysitting for the time being. I enjoy the walk, it gives me a chance to nip to the shop and buy myself a treat that I don't have to share, mean mother that I am.

@rawkaren and @PennyForthem and @callyanna...
An attractive spacious terraced house with potential to be lovely..good sized rooms, original wooden floors,a friendly happy vibe which i think is important
A starter home but equally could live happily there til they're ninety!
I know things like roof (is good) and electrics( need some attention but DDs uncle will sort that) are important but I cant help but get seduced by visuals..
has cheery shrub with red berries by the front door and in the yard a raised area with bushes and a Buddha! And what we used to call a wash house when i was a kid..outhouse where theyre planning to put w/ machine and chest freezer.
we love the area and know it well, lived close by from 2002-2011...very leafy and lots of places for strolling, cycling, running ..and walking Mabel-Louise, the little dachshund they intend gettting!
Means a return to our old GP who knows DD and her health probs well..and right by a primary school with great Ofsted report ( getting a bit ahead of myself there! )
Think its a keeper  unless the survey comes up with something horrendous!
@carieoates yeh DD is very good at handling MIL diplomatically but finds her very tedious! X

Just snuggling down with an unwatched vid: Quartet. Thank goodness for fixed beds and central heating in caravans!!
Dogs walked and sound asleep, steak munched, vino consumed... (us) don't think it'll be a late night

Complete change from captain Phillips which we watched last week, but it definitely had the feelgood factor and we both love opera. Very Hotel Marigold and a good Saturday night in the caravan movie. Now, what to watch next week?

Hello Everybody

I have not been posting but have been lurking around.

Sounds like you are having a lovely time @PennyForthem and I enjoyed the movie Quartet with Maggie Smith as well.

The house sounds so very nice @CandiceMarie - I will keep my fingers cross for you all.

@Julieathome - good to hear that you are feeling better, just take each day as it comes, and take of yourself.

I am still doing 16/8 which suits me and is working so very well, and on Fast Days I don't quite manage the whole day but I do what I can and feel comfortable with.

A test this week has shown I have a reflux Ulcer and a hiatus hernia, and together with the Diabetes type 2 readings, I really need to be much more mindful what food and drink I am putting into my body together with increasing the exercise. I am a lazy exerciser but I know it does give me better results if I attempt some at least 3-4 times per week.

We had our clocks change back last night, even though it was nice to see the morning light, it saddens me that our nights will be darker earlier and that Winter is just around the corner, still the changing Seasons are part of Life.

Have a wonderful evening/day wherever you are.

Take care,
cheers
Maggie

Glad you reminded me that the clocks have changed in Vic, so OH only two hours ahead now.
The house does sound nice Candicemarie, so no pressure then

Do the dogs sleep inside the caravan with you PFT? I can just imagine the five of you all snuggling down together! I remember staying in a cottage with our two in the room, a night of wind (them), snoring (OH), I didn't get much sleep, didn't happen again!!
