Do you remember I told you about my oldest son Sam who attends upper secondary school (hope that is correct) in Norrköping (180km south of me) studying to be a wild animal keeper? And he had the option of seeking an international internship next year? Well, through a friend of a friend we found what seem to be a fantastic place in South Africa and Sam turned in his paper work for a scholarship/grant to his mentor in school last week, only to have her come back on Monday telling all students they need to fix a letter of intent with signatur and stamp and that she has to have it no later than on Monday to come. Well, apart from that I'm not supposed to help Sam with any of this the letter of intent signed and stamped has reached the mentor. "We" have now done everything we can and it's all out of our hands, all we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope that Sam will be allowed his grant.
PS In Sweden parents aren't allowed to pay for things like this (or outings or...) since we through our very steep taxes pay for free schooling, hence the school have to apply for grants for the students.
