Curmudgeon or Control Freak!
24 Dec 2014, 08:37
Another quiz for you. Anyone recognise themselves?!
http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle ... -christmas
Think I'm a control freak but I knew that already .....
That'll do Debs    :deadrose: :deadrose: :deadrose:
In all honesty I'm not there.
Im pretty organised, but if I ain't got it we can do without it, but two roasts are plenty. It's just a Sunday dinner after all. With crackers and Christmas pudding.....
But it's a great reason to clear up the spare bedroom for those visitors.
I am a mixture of many, but one in a million. And my mum would say so too so there......ha ha
Well, I have to say that I am mostly the placator but I can be persuaded to to indulge the curmudgeonly aspect of my personality at times and the control freak at other times which is not easy as there is not room in this house for 2 control freaks but who cares anyway? I hope you all have a great Christmas wherever you find yourself on the stress scale and I hope next year brings peace and harmony to the world,

Ballerina x  : :drink: hic!
Part placator, part control freak I think.

Very funny article. I think I can recognise a few of those characters in our family :like:
I'm the placatory one, too with a bit of last minute thrown in for good measure. I had a melt down last week, but now I'm looking forward to it all with gusto.
I wish I were the wise teenager, but as a septuagenarian, that would be a little hard

I did solve the "having to avert my eyes" turkey carving problem this Thanksgiving by managing to be in another room when the hacking and tearing was going on--OMG he doesn't even take it out of the pan

Thanks for this, Debs,--great fun

Have a great holiday and New Year Everyone
