Cyber Monday - is it for real?
02 Dec 2013, 13:45
So apparently us Brits will be spending £900k per minute on t'internet today as panic sets in for Christmas. Is it for real or is it a media conspiracy to get us to spend?

What did you buy on line today?

For me - nothing :like: :like:
I won't be buying anything on the Internet either. I like to give the small shops a boost, I also like to see what I am buying.
Nothing-but I have more or less finished my Christmas shopping.
We don't have Cyber Monday here, but Christmas shopping have geared up and the prognosis is the people will spend astronomical sums. In our family we don't have gifts among the grown ups and as the kids grow, they get less and less since they already have all they need/want. Me - I want to go back to FL this year too - sun, warmth, surf and palm trees…..ahhhhhh.

Said that I have absolutely problem buying quilting stuff, books, clothes etc on internet :)
I'm with Nessie on this one,

Ballerina x
Clearification: I live in Sweden where we pay among the highest taxes in the world, either it's on salaries or consumer good and leave us with less bang for the buck o to speak. Top that with there are no local quilt shops to be found anywhere in my area, so shopping from the USA is a necessity.
