I can quite see why the Scots wanted independence from a country where everything government wise seems to revolve around London (and I am half Scots) but also pleased they are staying (and not trying to start a political debate here please note). As @Silverdarling said...'just saying'.
I think London is the problem - for those of us in the rest of the UK regions as well.
Im wishing Scotland the very best for her future, and hope that the best decision has won out.
All my Scottish forebears cells send as well
Sorry for those who didnt get their wish, must be frustrating, and agree with you SD and @loversghost re London, but must say, i am glad we still have a " UK" and can still have "Great" " in Great Britain ! ( also just sayin..) x
Personally I'm really glad that Scotland remain our buddies. I love Scotland...despite the rain!

Well I didn't really feel I had a right to cheer on either side. But I was really pleased to see such a high voter turnout.
Being in the US, I quite get how it feels to have about half the country vote in a way you didn't want, so I'm sending lots of love to the "yes" people.

As @Moogie so wisely said on another thread
So, to paraphrase her wise words: Please can anyone reading this who enjoys a political argument, kindly respect the original poster's intent to have a friendly discussion here as opposed to an argument we won't say "if you don't have something nice to say, say nothing", more "if you have something unpleasant to say, don't say it"!
So, let's all keep it pleasant as we are all entitled to our views - always remember we all have fasting in common!
