Requested in another thread so I'll introduce my "herd".

First of all we have big Jack - on the right, a 16hh Clydesdale X Welsh D who looks mostly Clydie.

He's a bit of a nervous nelly but a safe hack and rises to the responsiblity of looking after his rider. He's really now my husband's horse since I had a fall last year (not from Jack) and broke 6 ribs.

On the left is Albi, who turned 4 in June. I've had him since he was 11 months old and now co-own him with the lady who is on him in the pic. He's been backed this summer and is doing brilliantly.... he's a labrador, cunningly disguised as a hairy coblet! Just adorable and very loving, wouldn't hurt a fly and incredibly laid back and placid. I always said I wanted to sit on Albi on my 50th birthday and although I still considered myself to heavy for him on the actual day, I did climb aboard for a photo opportunity.

I've since lost another stone so will be sharing the riding of him a bit more now as I feel he can cope with my current weight as it continues to fall.

My "own" riding horse is Joey... a super safe conformationally-ugly-as-sin 14.2hh cob of sorts... (pictured here with my husband on Jack)

Joe has been a total rock since his arrival last August and has been instrumental in healing my shattered confidence after my accident, above and beyond! I am having more fun riding now than I've had for many years. Whilst he coped fine with me at my heaviest, I felt I owed him to lose a shed load of weight and I'm sticking to my word!!!

Lastly, I have a yearling that I bred last year. He's officially called Boo Radley but is known as Baby-Boo or BooBoo... pic of him at a day old and now...

He's not going to be tall... he'll probably take after his parents who were both bang on 14hh but he'll be a chunk. I'd like to learn to drive him.
What lovely photos
Your horses are beautiful! I always wanted a horse, but my husband (raised on a ranch in Arizona until he was about 11) has a much less romantic view of horses. Oh well! I guess I'll just have to admire them from afar.
My husband started off totally non-horsey but he's a real animal lover and over the years I think he's developed an "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" attitude so now he comes to the yard with me when he can, poo-picks, grooms, cuddles and rides Jack. I feel so privileged that he has opted to get so hands on with them... it's lovely to share the joy and enjoyment....
Brill photos thank you

I'm particularly loving the one of you sat down with Joey, what a babe. Is that a natural horsemanship halter?

As I don't have my photos with me, here's a couple of links:

I'm not a horse rider, but do like horses, and enjoyed your photos.

It had never occurred to me that a horse-rider who gained weight would no longer be able to ride certain horses. I'm pleased to be able to get back in to old jeans, so how much more fantastic to be able to ride one of your beautiful horses again!
I am a Parelli Natural Horsemanship student. I have a 16.2 hands TB x Cleveland Bay mare. Although she is quite tall she is quite fine boned so I am very aware that I must not continue being fat  .
The slimmer and more athletic I can be can only be good for her and not just me. x
