Goodness Greatness
17 Oct 2013, 18:29
That's what I think this group/forum is all about. I have been on Delphi Forums and Yahoo groups for something like 15-16 years and although they have been very kind, fun and generous, reading here always bring a huge smile on my face. Plus people are very supportive and openminded - verrryyyyy openminded. Like you don't hide beneath the bushel (ok that is probably not the right wordings, but hey - I'm only Swedish  ) that you do love your wine and booze. Ha, here in Sweden it's almost taboo to admit that you have a glass of wine all alone.....I refuse to bow to that, if The DH is out, why should I enjoy a glass of red?
Well, just wanted to let you know that "you I like a lot" (Black Adder) .

Me too! Nothing wrong with savouring a fine wine on your own, you are able to give it your full attention  so keep it up and yes, everyone here is just wonderful for a variety or reasons. I love the way everyone brings something worthwhile to the party  :victory:

Hi Wolfie

If a reason is ever needed to enjoy a glass of wine on your own, celebrate wearing your gorgeous boots earlier this week

Feet recovered yet ?

That is why I love wine boxes! Easy to drink alone if I want! Also great for adding a slug to cooking.

Oh goodness, not the old chateau cardboard?!! Can't get anything decent in a cask here, it all comes in glass!
And yes, Wolfie, we all are fairly honest on here which is probably why this WOE is so good, we are all real people who like our food and drink and don't want to be calorie and life restricted every day of our lives!

Feet recovered, but knees slightly aching

A full box of wine?? There is a limit to even my indulgence....
I do wish "my" supermarket could carry truly good chocolate, Marabou, Fazer and Lindt doesn't do it for me at all :frown:

I know, but it won't be here tomorrow - the DH will be gone until Sunday, so I plan to splurge LOL cause he can't steal them from me. But as things stand, no chocolate.
