Anyone else got any funny celeb stories? I remember someone telling me she saw Elton John at a football match so she gave him a little wave,at which he raised his eyebrows and shook his head disapprovingly!
My poor friend got told to F *** off when she tried to say hello to someone from a famous band..and a member of another famous band glared at her when she smiled timidly at him!
What is up with these people !
Another friend managed to get backstage at a concert we went to and was also told to f*** off when she asked the band could they wish me a Happy Birthday!
Charming!

Hey @nursebean did your little line about seeing your sis daily mean you are thinking of moving across the water to Canada? I remember you mentioning it before. Would be wonderful if we had the Bean over here.

Oh Judith @Judithn of course!! You're a Canadian...how wonderful! Yes I am really hoping to move to Montreal with my parents. We're just finding it difficult to find out how to apply. Its all so complicated! My parents are out with my sister at the moment...getting a feel for it. They will have to stay there for a longer period in time though I think. I'm happy to go because I want to be near my sister and her two boys (I think!!)

Yes, I know what you mean Candy @Candicemarie. We checked with the hotel staff before we approached the Ford. I would have liked to have had our photo taken with him...but we didn't want to push our luck! He was glazy eyed and obviously a bit worse for wear, so who knows he might have done!

D'you know what's annoying for me? I have had two acquaintances who both (years apart) went to Wimbledon and who should they spot? Yes, you've guessed it...only Jack! How frustratious is that eh!

Montreal is a wonderful city and only a 2-hour drive from Ottawa although I haven't been there for quite a while. Hope you get to come here.

Makes me wonder,who peep wd like to bump into? Obviously, i can't bump into Georgetastic Harrison RIP..so i'd love to meet Keith from the Stones! He seems such a amiable guy with a likeable eccentricity to him..think he wd be fascinating to chat to.x

I have to say, Candy, that Jack is obviously my main yearning. I guess it would be pretty good to see George Clooney! I'd love to meet Peter Gabriel, Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo (although I'd be so embarrassed and wouldn't know what to say really. I'd need my sister to do the talking!)

Thats exactly it @Gillymary! Its a combination of his voice (mmm), his eyes (mmm) and his eyebrows (mmm) gets me every time. I still think its a bit weird that I was so attracted to him when I saw him in The Shining. He was crazy in that!!
