I've just shaken hands with Harrison Ford...Han Solo no less!! He's staying in our hotel...how exciting!!

The whole thing was a real case of fate (is that the right spelling?!) My sis and I were going to stay in Oxford but because of my ME we felt this might be too much. So I booked a hotel in Basingstoke! Can you imagine bumping into Harrison Ford in a hotel in Basingstoke?!! Talk about surreal. We were in hysterics.

I hate to disillusion you Ford fans...but he looked awful! He looks really old now and was SO scruffy and dishevelled. He was clearly drunk too and fell off his chair when telling his friends a story. My sister excitedly asked him if he was ok...to which he replied "Thank you for your concern" We we so pleased!! Anyway, later we saw him at the bar and just had to go over to him. He was happy to chat for a bit...but we didn't dare ask for a photo. His stunt double was with him...he was rather nice!! And years younger

Anyway, my short time with my little sisquee couldnt' have been better!!

How exciting! I have no such claim to fame although I have met Brad Pitt's stunt double - he is married to an old schoolfriend!

how funny being married to someone who is literally Brad's double. Most amusing! Maybe I should try and find Jack's stunt double...like 30 years ago

Amused and musing here. Fancy having a stunt double who is younger and better looking.
And Which Jack, If that is of the Nicholson variety just saw the rerun of 'one flew over the Cookoo's nest' that Jack was not so bad looking when he was younger. Maybe I have the wrong Jack Beanniebops @nursebean

Sorry about that @Gillymary. In my eyes there is only ONE Jack...and Yes its Mr Nicholson...and yes I love the young version of him. I think his "handsomeness" was totally overlooked. But I spotted him!

I had an absolutely wonderful time with my sis. I'm just hoping that one day I will see her on a daily basis...in Canada!
