Homeland or Downton?
06 Oct 2013, 17:46
Good telly in UK tonight with viewing clash between Homeland *squeals*, Downton and BBCs By Any Means. Sky+ will be doing its magic, but which one will you be watching tonight? Homeland for me. I love Carrie. Completely bonkers. I can relate to her

Is anyone else finding the current Downton series about as riveting as watching paint dry? :sleepy:
I was sooo looking forward to my Sunday night fix but the story lines have been so far-fetched and some of the acting so wooden that I'm now thinking I'll give it one more go tonight and then give it up as a bad job!

Homeland all the way, never could get into period dramas. Now all I need is the next season of the walking dead to start and I'll be happy as Larry. Whoever Larry is!

Neither, even thought I think they are airing in Sweden too. Used to love Masterchef (the BBC version) but lately I think it's become rather dull. As is "home in the sun or away".
Haaaaaa, not to mention Trina and Susanah is re-making Swedish famous people....talk about watching paint dry = gahhhh. I really don't watch much TV.

Homeland in 'real time' for me, by any means on I player tomoz, record downton, it's our secret vice, I got into it when I had a broken ankle last year, husband will watch it, then moan for 10 mins after.

Downton for me - costume drama escapism any day!

Although I haven't watched the current run yet. I record episodes, then splurge on several in one go, usually giving myself a sort of mental indigestion as a result. Moderation? What's that then?
