Hi callyanna, no it was 6 months almost to the day. in fact we had planned to get married on the 6 month anniversary, but it was a week day and my Mom and Aunt said we needed to move it up to he weekend and we did. for years when ever he forgot our anniversary he would say " if they had let me get married when we wanted to, I wouldn't have forgotten" :)
I think we were meant to be. a few months before we met, I had public health rotation. I had difficulty finding the office, I kept passing it and turned around in the driveway of the same house. after we met, he took me home to meet his parents. guess where he lived, yep, in the house I had been turning around at.

oh, and he proposed on April 1st, then joked that he was going to get to the alter and say "April fools". good thing we both have a slightly warped sense of humor.

congratulations on the 40 years together. that's wonderful!! hope you are having a wonderful day. Phyllis
