Julie, so sorry to hear about Casper. They become such an integral part f the family, that it s only natural for you to mourn his loss. Casper had a good life with your family and didn't suffer, but was able to be with you and cared for until it was time for him to leave.

Big hugs

So sorry to hear of the loss of your furbaby. I lost my Grace the same way. It took me 5 years to get another kitty so I know how you feel. Big hugs to you.

Like Alexandra we lost both our beautiful woofie boys in Dec 2011 and I have started crying now, just as well this isn't video, but the keyboard isn't waterproof. Mourning for animals is normal when they are part of your family, I still cry occasionally, actually more than occasionally and desperately want more dogs but cannot contemplate going through the pain again at the moment.
The others are right though, taking your boy to pick another cat would be a great idea.
Thinking of you,
Deb

"My heart has joined the Thousand, for my friend stopped running today." Richard Adams, Watership Down.

It is heartbreaking when they go, the cost of having such wonderful companions over the years. Sorry for your loss.
