More hugs and positive vibs from down under
Carmel
We are all present in the "virtual" waiting room wishing you the best. That hospital isn't big enough to hold all of us:)
Good vibes and virtual hugs have been sent from Japan...
I'm back after a complete and utter farce of mis-communications between hospitals. Plus a hospital doctor deciding that a 2 minute test of my reflexes counts for more than the experience and knowledge of my specialist. I may be back in tomorrow, but now is time for painkillers (too many miles and too much movement) and curling up on the sofa.

It seems that the surgeon who said to go to A&E called the hospital to have me red flagged for when I went in. Which should have had me seen and referred to the Spinal Injuries hospital by the general hospital Orthopedic doctor(Spinal Injury's ONLY accept referrals from orthopedic doctors in normal hospitals or they would get over run with minor problems like broken legs). But to get to an Orthopedic Doctor I had to get bumped up the chain by the A&E doctor. The A&E doctor is the one who decided that as I had normal reflexes in knee's, elbows and wrists and a normal sphincter squeeze (don't ask, embarrassing) that I was O.K. and should go home (read between the lines, "stop wasting their time with made up problems"). The A&E deny ANY communications from the Spinal Injuries hospital. So we don't know what or who to yell at.
So here I am, back home, in agony (to many miles has aggravated my neck) absolutely livid at the utter cock-up that's happened and waiting for tomorrows phone calls that are going be made.
For eff's sake, how utterly lousy. You would be furious at being made so scared for nothing. I really feel for you, it must be horrible.
The problem I have is that its not for nothing. I should have been admitted as the problems I am having show an escalation of my condition into dangerous/harmfull territory.
Oh dear. Thinking of you. Big hugs.
*hugs* I hope this is all sorted out quickly!!
How bloody annoying! You must be spitting chips! Hope you can get it sorted.

Very best wishes regarding your hospital investigations and treatment, and I hope that you are able to stay as calm as is possible under the circumstances. Good Luck x
How frustrating for you Julie. Sounds like a rollercoaster 12 hours you have had.
