Thanks for keeping us updated in the middle of your pain; how frustrating for you - physical pain and emotional turmoil like this is not good at all.
Whilst in won't undo the upheaval of last night (and its after effects on you and your family), I do hope you get to the bottom of this - and of course, you'll have to deal with the infamous bureaucracy of the NHS.

xx
Dreadful story, Julie. Scary, irritating, painful. Love across the world to you.
:clover: :clover: Good Luck Julie :clover: :clover:

Hope all goes well :clover: Sue :clover: :clover:
Hoping you will be fine and in better health soon. Be brave. I know its hard. Lighting a candle for you.
Truly awful Julie, how can these cock ups happen?

Wishing you all the best, positive vibes by the gallon to you, hugs xxx hope you get look after properly from now on!
I do hope that they can get to the bottom of this and that you are not in too much pain and discomfort in the meantime. Please keep us posted.
So sorry to hear about all the pain and trouble the docs are causing you. My hubby was really ill at the beginning of the year and after many, many hours spent sitting in cold and uncomfortable A&E depts the main conclusion we came to was that once you put two doctors together they lose the ability to even agree on what day it is!

Some of the problem seems to stem from the fact that medicine is so much more complex now that each speciality is split into even more sections which adds to the number of people involved. Hubby had a reaction to some medication which caused heavy bleeding into his urine. He ended up seeing 4 separate docs. One dealt with the prostate, one with the bladder, and two others who dealt with separate aspects of the kidney itself! The mind truly boggles at how many opinions you might get for something as complex as your neurological problems!

I really hope you can soon get them all singing off the same hymn sheet and get them to sort out your pain. I know how cross it makes you. Almost 12mths on and we are still trying to get hubby sorted!
I'm so sorry to hear about this worrying development. Being turned away from A&E must have felt like the last straw.

Greatly hoping that you are getting the right treatment now and on track for recovery.

very best wishes, kl
So sorry to hear you've been subjected to such a cock-up and, given the nature of your condition, it must be affy frightening. Thoughts are with you and hope it gets sorted out *stat*. xxx FatDog
I am so sorry you've had this bad experience...my advice for what it's worth: get everything in writing (your referrals etc) and send copies to the relevant NHS departments and particularly to the A & E department that turned you away. Always get the name of the doctor who treats you for reference...then, as in American parlance, "kick butt!".
Thinking of you and hoping stuff gets sorted.
