Don't forget the 5:2 book club is currently reading a short story called "The Luminaries". Set in 1866 it is 834 pages long!! Actually I am enjoying it so far :-)

Actually, Bean, this month's book is EITHER the Rosie Project (came in first) OR The Luminaries (for those with more time / more stamina / the equivalent of FitBit or 10,000 steps for readers)

Maybe when you tell us all about it we can pretend we've read it

Er, actually it's pretty light...on my Kindle!! Yes you're right Silverdarling I did have a choice, but I said to myself "Bean? You can do this. It's a Booker prize winner, won't you feel good when you've read it" the rest, as they say, is history! Contrary to my previous comments, I am enjoying it, I just keep getting interrupted...by his forum! Hey ho!

Re the Rosie Project: I loved it! Highly recommend and it took me just two days to read! If you like The Big Bang Theory or The IT Crowd on TV, you'll love it.

Hmm @Candicemarie Kindles are definitely more hygienic aren't they...but I do like the "rustle" of turned pages and the smell of a good book (bad books just smell off)
