Candy, where do you suggest? Is there a decent Café Rouge? That always seems a safe bet.

There appear to be two Cafe Rouge in Liverpool. They both look to be within walking distance of Lime Street Station. I'm thinking the one that says it is in the met district might be a little quieter than the one in Liverpool 1. But I am only speculating@CandiceMarie would have more idea.

Possibly by lunchtime 22nd,most of the office parties will be done, hopefully, tho everywhere, specially L One, crowded with Crimbo shoppers no doubt..
@Merlin is right,Met area IS much quieter than L One, tho Caff Rouge there has closed. There's a Carluccios tho. ( have just rung, they don't do their usual ' two courses for ten pounds' lunch at xmas - surprise surprise - ! - but have xmas menu (£22) or a la carte)
Up the hill from the station, between the Cathedrals,on Hope Street, are several eating places..away from shopping area so would be a bit quieter, but i dont know if anyone wants to schlepp up the hill from the station..tho gives a chance to visit the Cathedrals too for anyone who wishes to.
Everyman,Clove Hitch,Philharmonic, are a few places that spring to mind, and both Cathedrals have eateries..

Ps just phoned and they said 22nd would be fine..they have the usual menu plus a crimbo one if anyone wants that..
http://www.nicholsonspubs.co.uk/thephil ... rm_pb1.pdf

They need £5 per head depo but i can pop in and pay that.. Have a look at the links and see what everyone thinks.

Looks fine to me@CandiceMarie
I wouldn't manage the 3 course menu though, especially so close to Christmas excesses that will surely happen!
Re: Liverpool meet
06 Nov 2014, 13:22
I agree@merlin! Just one crimbo dinner that week will be ample!
I' m thinkin maybe fish n chips if we go there
Been there twice before and a nice meal both times x
Re: Liverpool meet

One of those places that assume non- meat eaters want to eat carbs, but the sea bass main looks fairly promising.

Thank you Candy. You're a :star:
I think the menu looks pretty representative of bistro fayre these days. I shall be putting the carb chimp firmly in her box for the day!
