Now that the venue arrangements have been beautifully sorted by CM, if anyone is up for a morning walk around Liverpool to soak up the delights of the heritage and arts and perhaps the purchase of a jar of chutney or akin treats en route you are very welcome to join me Hello @Sallyo my walking tent fellow, I'm taking you for a walk in luv Liverpool 22nd December, where shall we stroll? I'll re-post this call out in the 'walkers tent' at the weekend, bit busy now. Edit: While writing this post I heard the rushing of water, dashed upstairs to find the empty washing machine gushing water out of the open door, like it was being sick! Floor a flood. I found a 'deep plunge' type button on the cycle so it seems sorted for now, imagine if it had happened during the night the floor would have given in to water. The washing machine door is now firmly SHUT.

@lizbean: that sounds fabulous. I always believed my grandmother came from Liverpool. But it turns out she actually came from Sheffield, but the boat to Australia left from Liverpool. I can't wait to see it all!

I am so sorry folks but I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able make the meal,on the 22nd for personal reasons. I am very disappointed that I'm not going to be able to meet you. Please let me know if they charge you for my deposit - I've spoken to them and they said they won't charge for it but if there are any problems please let me know. I would hate for anyone to be out of pocket. Have a great time xx

Thank you all. Yes everything is fine with me and my crew. I feel rotten letting you all down however a friend of mine has booked me on a pre-Christmas pampering day at a local hotel spa! And I didn't feel I could say no. I hope there will be another opportunity to meet you all at another time. Best wishes to you all and have a great Christmas. Esta xxx

I was supposed to be at a fair today in Heswall, but it was cancelled.

The forecast for tomorrow is bright and breezy! Couldn't be better for our December get together.
Sorry that @Esta and @candicemarie won't be joining us, but we'll try and arrange another in the Spring.
In the meantime, it's going to be a lovely way of kicking off the festivities and meeting friends, old and new.

Looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow. I'm pleased to hear the forecast is good tomorrow @PennyForthem as I'm arriving early to do some Christmas shopping - yep I'm right up against it this year .... see you at 1pm hopefully having wrapped it all up.
