Ohhhh just had a peek at PFTs link..looks fab! X
Great venue for your meet up ladies. Have been there several times as we have a holiday home 8 miles from Ludlow but won't be down there next week.
There are things I must buy in there, like the Priory cheese!
I will be following in your wake PFT!
Um, I'm not far away, near Bridgnorth. May I pop along? Been majorly quiet on here because of willpower failure and some weight re-gain. However, I've had a bit of a mindset change and have started to lose again. Didn't want to post as I've done that in the past about three times since Christmas and then gone on to fail again so I'm keeping schtum this time. Would be nice to meet some of you in the flesh though if I'd be welcome.....
Ooh yes domane. I knew you weren't far away, but hadn't seen you around for a while. I've muscled in, so why don't you too xxx
So that'll be 5 of us so far ...
I know where you are coming from @Domane with the mindset problem. I have had what many would consider an acceptable excuse to put on a few pounds, but for me it wasn't, mainly because I was eating rubbish. But this morning as I was waking up I gave myself a good talking to and have managed a dinner only fast and a full (modified) session in the gym and I'm feeling great for it. The time has to be right for each of us to be able to re-commit, for us it is now that time.
@Silverdarling they have salted caramel ice cream.

Oh dear, I've just read it fully, they make creme brulee as well. Thats the diet blown for the week then.
Chocolate & Orange Brownie with chocolate sauce £4.50
Crème Brulee, shortbread £4.50
Pecan Tart with Clotted Cream £4.50
Bread & Butter Pudding, vanilla ice cream £4.50
Affogato £3.50
Espresso poured over our vanilla ice cream

(From the current lunch menu - we could each have a different one!)

Then I will take a huge tub of salted icecream back to the Hen House
(cottage I 'm staying in  )
I'm really looking forward to meeting you all! Not too long to wait, either! I shall be seeing @silverdarling twice in a week - hope it's not too much for you m'dear!!

They also have Brockhall goats' cheese back on the menu. It was in the top 50 artisan foods in the Great taste awards last year!!

Do you think, now there are 5 of us, we need to book? I was last there in 2009, so it's probably grown and changed considerably since then. Sunshine and showers forecast, but looking warmer!
Might as well book to be on the safe side. Shall we say 12 o'clock for 5 people? Any more takers?
I'll be there vicariously having seen that menu!!

Huh? What about the lovely peeps attending, @debs? Do we count for nought against that menu, then?
