Thanks for the update Moogie. Im sure all will be sorted and you will feel on top of things again. In the meantime that's great advice from CandiceMarie. Sending love and hugs your way.
Good to hear from you @moogie, sorry it's not better news you have to share. Take it easy and remind yourself that this isn't forever, you've had a set back but you're closer to finding the answer. Glad your fast went well and hope it gives you extra energy. We look forwards to seeing more of you on here when you're well enough. Don't worry about this place, we're keeping it clean and tidy for you. What a great post that was from @candicemarie. I'm not ill but will be taking some of those DO-NOTs on board.
Nice to hear the fur babies have settled well. Take care of yourself.

Good luck girl, I'm sure it won't 've long before you are back to busy, so rest and take your time. You are reminding us that good health is a blessing. Everyone here is rooting for you
Sorry to hear that things aren't great but hopefully you are on the up now. Keep cuddling those kitties - they're great therapy (as well as lap-warmers!)
So sorry to hear you have had to deal with the setback. But it's good that you are a candidate for the newer, less restrictive anticoagulant.

I went through a year-long, similarly disruptive health crisis in my mid-40s, and though it was total hell for the time it lasted (involving a very painful condition that brought daily life to a complete halt), I eventually did find a way to cope, and then, when the condition went into an unexpected remission, I plunged back into life with a huge and very new ability to appreciate doing the simplest, normal things. The years that followed were amazingly productive, and I made some changes in my personal life that I probably wouldn't have had the courage to make had I always been in great health. Those changes have made the last 20 years so much better than I could have imagined before I became ill.

So I hope that when you look back on this period from some time far in the future, you, too, see that as difficult as it has been, it has given you something that will greatly enhance your ability to know your self and to do what really matters to you.
@Moogie- I echo all the wonderful advice and wishes from everyone else. Take it easy - I know it seems you're doing plenty of that already, but you'll be back to whatever you decide "normal" is in time. Now, just know you are cared for here by people all over the world and feel the "love wave" we're sending you for a complete recovery. :clover: :clover: :like:
Please take care, Moogie. At least you have a clear diagnosis now, but I'm sorry you've had to suffer more to get there. Good luck with the new meds.
So sorry to hear about your setback. I do understand your frustrations in not having long term clarity. As you know my OH is also unwell and often that can be worse than the condition itself. Please take care of yourself.
Thinking of you and sorry you have again had to go through more symptoms and tests. Wishing you all the best as you regain medical stability again. You have such a good attitude, patience and courage that you will do well!
Good to hear from you Moogie - sorry to hear of the set back but hoping the thought of seven weeks to treatment helps you manage the frustration.
Dearest Moogie, Saint of the Forum, this is appalling! Sending lots of love across the oceans and the continents.
I love the idea of a love wave @MLCDz ! I'm thinking of a big colorful parachute that my preschoolers hold and wave up and down while the teddy or ball tosses in the air. Mary Lynn in Midwest USA started the first big love wave. @Wineoclockand I are sending it back from the Blue Mountains. Who else is lifting this Moogie love wave?
@CandiceMarie your beautiful post made me cry. You are beautiful.
Loving thoughts and prayers to you Moogie.

Dear @Moogie

I'm sorry its going so slow...I hear the waiting for *normal* is agony. Clots sound scarey - it's good to hear the clot doctor (can't recall his professional name) is on the ball....looking into other explanations other than the pill. It's a full time job having an illness. Rest, doctors, diet, doing basics. That office chair will be there for you when you're ready. for now its getting the balance right.
Sending angels from sunny australia to shower you with care and magic.
warmly
Johanna
Thank you so much everyone, I feel the love and it brings me to the verge of tears (but at the moment I can't let myself cry or my breathing goes wrong!). @CandiceMarie thank you so much for that list, it is brilliant and really does hit the nail on the head. I'm going to print it out and put it in my kitchen as a reminder.

Yesterday's fast went really well and I feel none the worse for it today. I haven't woken up starving and will do something like 16:8 today I think. Maybe time for a hot chocolate now though to keep me going for the morning ;)

Hope you're all taking good care of the newbies in my absence, after all the newbies of today are the regulars of tomorrow!
Keeping the * love wave * going from the NorthWest of England!
Moogie glad your fast went well! X and @justdee that's a good point! Taking that list onboard will help keep well people well and stave off that health depleting stress X :like:
