Just back from the Shire myself - Shropshire! Hope the lovely weather continues for you. Regards from the Eden Valley.
Oooooh it looks like Utopia!
I saw some right sights today at Mold farmers' market. Blubber, hairy legs (the women!) a man with a tea cosy on his head, a woman wearing some sort of orange distress flare and a bloke with the shortest shorts I've ever seen a blokey wearing!
It was so cold in the market, I wore a jumper all the time.
Saw your posts on FB @PennyForthem    Lovely here today, about 22 at least and have just spent the afternoon in the garden, reading, after going to Tenbury Wells for shopping. Taking advantage of this nice weather while it lasts - it may be raining on Monday (and Tuesday!). Off to Hampton Court tomorrow on Carorees advice. Feel well 'chilled' now - not literally TG!

@carorees now I know why you painted your nails today, :dazed:

Wearing a skirt today

Legs looking awfully white and knees knobbly!!
It turns out that there really are hobbits in Worcestershire. @Silverdarling knocks on one of their front doors...

Dress yesterday and shorts at home today. I wish I read your update sooner, I could have probably made it to Hampton Court myself.
blimey - those legs are whiter than white :curse:

And no one was in

Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, Julie!
Luckily as well as hobbits, it seems there are some nice places for big people too...

Looks like a good place to hold a FastDay convention...SD and I have picked out our bedrooms already!
A lovely day at. Hampton Court with @Carorees - and in case you were wondering, yes we had plenty to eat - quiche and salad, followed a bit later by almond and apricot slice - afternoon tea on the terrace. Here is Caroline wondering whether the top of her bra is visible   in her new top - well what do you think??

Seriously tho  we had a very nice day wandering round the absolutely wonderful gardens, getting lost in the maze, listening respectfully to the castle guide, and doing a riverside walk. I would have got a pic of Caroline on the swing under the huge old lime tree, but the camera wasn't playing ball (nothing to do with me  ) and by the time I'd worked out what to do, a smaller kid had snuck in and taken our place

Looking forward to yet another spiffing meet-up on Tuesday :victory:
Bother! The bra top is visible! I must say I like the settings on SD's camera...it makes me look like I have a tan  . So sorry my camera was not able to do the same for you @silverdarling!

I thought it was a bit off that the kids thought the swing was for their use...I was looking forward to SD pushing me on the swing! I would have had a tantrum but SD distracted me with tea and cake!

Had a great day with lots of chat and walking (how therapeutic) as well as yummy food and am looking forward to more chat (and hopefully cake) on Tuesday!

@Julieathome sorry it was a last minute arrangement as my son was supposed to have had a football match today but the opposing team cancelled so as I knew SD was going to Hampton Court, I suggested I met her there. We arranged it via the hangout, so it's a real shame you weren't online in time to join in. Still we are very much looking forward to hanging out with you in person on Tuesday!
And we are all waiting for you on the Hangout! People keep asking where you are! It's a bit like that bit in 'Dr No' where he gets told 'we've been expecting you, Mr Bond'   well we've been expecting you @Julieathome
I'm still not very up on the hangout. I will get hubby to help me tomorrow when I get in. Generally I don't try for it till after midnight and I assume I've missed you all.
