Slippers

This might not be the sexiest topic on this forum, but, by gum, it might be one of the most practical!
I have long since suffered with cold feet and slippers didn't seem to help, until I discovered these (In purple)

If you have cold feet, try these...(warm, not sexy!)(but can you be sexy with cold feet?)

Any other slipper links to try?

Lol cute slippers! I don't have problems with cold feet thankfully.

When we were first married and lived in a cold house with no central heating, my lovely husband got into bed on my side first to warm it and then allowed me to put my cold feet on his back to warm them up. We've been married for nearly 30 years now and we have a wonderful electric blanket instead!

I like my old fashioned hot water bottle.

kawaii! Japanese are obsessed with slippers, but usually they are slip ons. Usually ill-fitting slip-ons which are downright dangerous on stairs. These would be perfect!

Cute pink slippers. I have several different slipper options some boots similar to the pic, some slip on UGG (knockoffs) that were a gift last Christmas, a huge pair with Winnie the Pooh heads also a gift. But, honestly I have tons of fuzzy warm slipper socks and that is what I usually wear.

Not slippers, but thermal fluffy inside socks. Tog rating 2.3 They do womens ones as well. Hubby has Rhumatoid arthritis, he swears by them. He gets cold really easily because he can't move to keep warm in his wheelchair.

Julie, they would be perfect for when I get cold standing at farmers' markets! I'm off to google women's ones. Thank you!

They look comfortable but, and please don't freak out, I am a bare feet woman, even in winter. It comes from the fact I have flat feet, that's what my doc said anyway.

I wear that kind of socks instead, made for skiing. They are soooooo warm but not really sexy either

My young Springer Spaniel (the one in my avatar) just adores the bobbles on my slippers. I have to hide said slippers when not wearing them, as I find her just happily wandering round with one in her mouth (unchewed, but a little soggy!)

I have flat feet but also some problems with my toes. I can't go barefoot or wear very flat footwear for long at all before I get serious discomfort.

Around the house, I live in fitflops. In the winter I wear Billows, mukluk or inuk boots (not sure if these are available now, as had mine a while) and in summer their 'flops.

I converted to bootie slippers about three winters ago... they're a revelation aren't they? I have terrible circulation... my feet and hands go cold in October and don't thaw until April! Got a bit of Reynauds in my fingers too. I was worried that being over three stone lighter this winter I'd feel the cold more but it seems to have had the opposite effect. Maybe the running has improved things but although my hands and feet are generally chilly, my main body isn't feeling too bad and instead of sitting on the couch in the evening with three layers, my bootie slippers and a blankie over me (in front of an open log-burner I might add) I'm actually stretching out, like Dom (my husband) in just a vestie top and no socks!! Unheard of!!!

I had a pair of slippers similar to the ones shown, my dog kept attacking the bobbles and wasn't satisfied until she had torn them off. It was a bit precarious at first as she kept tripping me up so when I had to replace them I cut the bobbles off the new pair. Spoiled her fun!

Some years ago I sewed a pair of slip on slippers myself (I do quilting you know) with fleece lining (not sheep - fabric) and found that as long as the front part of my feet was covered, I didn't freeze. Said that - why don't I put them on? It's freezing fast day.

I love the look of the animal print boot ones  May have to treat myself to a pair, or drop a subtle hint for Santa ! :like:
