Re: Strictly is back!!

Natalie`s aunt is my best friend, and the kindest lady you could hope to meet, so she would be my favourite even if she couldn`t dance. Thankfully she is also a brilliant dancer, and works incredibly hard. Very surprised that Abi was in the dance-off this week, especially as the judges thought it was her best dance. I think they should announce the actual numbers of votes recorded so that it is more transparent, and not open to possible manipulation. I agree that Dave is also a lovely man, but at the end of the day it is supposed to be about the dancing. Go Natalie!

I do  I find Zoe's voice slightly irritating at times though !

Yes, I'm as hooked on that as the main event. I like Zoe and felt she was robbed the year she took part. I also like Claudia even though I can see she is an acquired taste but they are both slightly quirky women and I like that.

Yes I love Claude, although I wish she would not act so dumb though. She strikes me as a very clever girl....

Claudia is well funny. Love her with Lens lense as well !

Wish she would come back and replace Zoe :)

Funny how this and X factor both had shocking bottom two

Well I'd like to take a pair of scissors to Claudia's fringe! And I wonder if anyone would recognise her without that eye make up and that pale lipstick ...

And her mother is Eve Pollard, so she's bound to be clever and a tough cookie underneath all that 'little girl' act ... her type not uncommon in broadcasting when I was in that milieu 30 years ago, and things obviously not altered today ... :-o :sarcastic:

Thank goodness for that.... Only Mark and Fiona to go now and the competition gets serious :like:

Bye bye Dave, your goose was cooked by the judges last night, and I suspect Mark will be for the high road next week!

Once Mark and Fiona have gone, it will become a REAL competition. Thank goodness Hairy Dave has gone.

I am so glad Strictly is back because I love all the dancing & would love to join in but would look very silly trying with my knees
Justice was done with Dave going & although a likeable bloke he should have gone before now because he just has no aptitude for dancing. Suzanne is doing very well & the actress who was unwell & didn't dance, whose name I can't remember, is very graceful & elegant to watch. I am enjoying watching the male dancers in their various states of undress

I actually thought Mark should have gone over Dave. All he did was stand still and occasionally raise his arms in the air...just awful. Yes, Dave should go next week.

I am really keen on Patrick. I was so impressed with his dance on Saturday that I actually voted for him (6 times!)

As for It Takes Two...I'm afraid I can't stand Zoe...very irritating. I thought Claudia was better.

Blackpool next week...hmmm I know I sound like a right old moaner but I always find Blackpool too OTT. Hey ho... :

I have to say I enjoyed the show much more with Tess and Claudia hosting than with Brucie...sorry!

It was time Dave went. I know he was working hard, bless him, but I could see no discernible improvement over the weeks.

I do hope Natalie recovers from whatever she had/has and that we will get to see her jive while she channels Tina Turner!

Yes agree I think things will move up a gear at the end of the month when we will hopefully be left with the really good dancers ... I do always find that it gets really irritating about this time in the competition - because there's always some baby elephant(s) still lumbering around and cramping the style of the others.

And yes Brucie had better watch out ...
